My best place ever to eat ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Sometimes they do sometimes they don't, just get a cannoli.
Great place to hangout with friends and family. Excellent food and service.
This place has a very large donning area which can seat over 80 people. The food is not that good. We had a veal parmesan which was very tough and gritty and a shrimp parmesan which was just ok. The tomato sauce was not good at all. Overall, just an ok donning experience.
I came here for dinner with a friend who was visiting from London. The food atmosphere and drinks were all good. Will visit again.
Just had an amazing dinner. Our server was Leonardo, a polite and professional gentleman. I was happy to have ordered the white sangria and one of Michaelangelo’s specials as my friend ordered a chicken parmigiana. This I will say is a place I wish I had gone to sooner and will come to again. Next I will have to try their pizza as it was a fun experience.
I order a margarita pizza on uber eats. I was told my food would take approximately 30-50 mins it’s took 2 hours I just received my food I orders at 3:30pm it is now 5:37pm my food is a cold as a winter day in New York I had to reheat the pizza just to be disappointed even more! Pizza is dry no sauce really only taste dough and cheese. I complained on uber eats and restaurant hasn’t even replied and refuse to give me a full refund. I will never again order from this place I will never ever again even go to the restaurant for a meal! Service is horrible and honestly I’m highly disappointed you’re in a Italian area and you fail the one thing that’s your signature. I demand a full refund cause I’m really disappointed and I have to waste more money just to satisfy my hunger.
Service a little slow. Food was good. Normal portions. Nice atmosphere until it got crowded. Expect to spend over $100 for two people. Not a good place for family with children on a holiday & on a budget.
Authentic Bronx. This is no Manhattan tourist show, Arthur Avenue is the real deal. Pastry shops, Italian groceries, and Italian spoke by natives. This restaurant is cozy, delicious and wonderful. I highly recommend the specials, brown gravy worth a return trip! It is not cheap ($23 specials), but the portions are generous - lunch leftovers tomorrow! Good stuff!
If you're looking for an authentic deli with awesome sandwich combinations, you must drop by this place. A tad pricey in comparison with its neighboring competition, but it offers some of the best burger combos in the area - the menu is massive. Wasn't able to drop by before the pandemic so not sure if they always used the same ingredients previous to lockdown (the patties and fries seemed to be frozen/precut). Nevertheless, this place is a community gem. They have ample curbside seating and decent service. In the same vicinity of 7/11 and tons of other outdoor dining options. Be sure to wear a mask if you order inside. The cons of this place is that we sat ourselves and no one acknowledged our existence on the side seating portion of the establishment.
Great Italian restaurant in the Bronx with a better pasta!!
Happy hour specials. The meatballs are pretty dry.
Ordered the baked clams and lasagna but wasn’t too pleased with the food. Baked clams were soggy and the lasagna was oily and had no taste whatsoever. The service was good, though. I might give it another shot.
The ambiance is lovely, but the food is mediocre. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo which was tasteless initially. However, some salt and parmesan remedied that issue. I also had the passion fruit margarita, but it was super salty. I recommend the white wine sangria, it was super tasty. Michaelangelo's saving grace is their location, waiters, and ambiance.
Ambiance is nice. The seafood platter was gross. It is the worst plate of seafood I've ever had. The waiter never came back for anything.
The place has a nice atmosphere. It's very quiet and they play nice music. The food is fantastic. My wife loved the shrimp ravioli, and I loved the rib eye steak. The brick oven pizza is great as well. My 4 year old had devoured it. If you want to go for a nice time out, this is for you.
Food was amazing. I had the eggplant parmigiana with angel hair paired with a glass of Malbec. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Service was a bit slow due to only one waiter working that evening.
Delicious food. Love the outdoor indoor ambiance. It was cooled inside somehow under this canopy. Surprisingly empty for a Monday evening. I went with my sister and we were maybe one of 2 diners. She enjoyed her pasta and I enjoyed my pizza which they accommodated for me to make vegan without cheese. The bread was really good and came with this tasty seasoned red sauce. The service was friendly. Would definitely return and Carlo’s acknowledged us on the way in and out. The food was so good I did takeout and got my partner his calamari for home which he enjoyed and another personal pizza for myself to eat later in the week! Would definitely return. 5/5
Nice ambience. Mediocre service and food wasn't great. We waited so long for some extra bread that I actually went outside to a deli down the block and bought an Italian bread back! The staff never noticed. We finished that whole loaf before the waiter finally brought some more bread to the table. We were a party of six.
Such a great neighborhood place!I co-run a Meetup group, and we have searched high and low for a place that can handle the size of the group (about 20-25) in a private space, AND provide full menu service! Michaelangelo's can do this and more, all led by a wonderful manager, Nicolette. The group meets in the downstairs wine tasting room, so we aren't disturbing or being disturbed by other patrons. This was key. Also important is the menu. Good, hearty, Norther Italian fare. And the prices are fair, too.We will keep coming back, 3rd Monday of every month!
They serve tasty food and provide excellent service... calming ambiance and friendly staff.
The food and service were excellent. The garden in the back is covered and very nice and pleasurable.
The pizza is burnt .The pizza is cold .Its looks like they put regular round pizza in a brick oven .Certainly doesn’t match the picture of brick oven pizza that they have on menu
6/13/2020 had a amazing dinner with wonderful service. The coconut shrimp is really large and tasty. The Hot antipasta is the best I have had.. Due to COVID19 there is outdoor dining. Coming back for the eggplant which was good as well.
Wonderful place!
Amazing food, always delicious and a real taste of classic Italian in NYC! Plus it's on Arthur Ave, you gotta come and have that experience!
This restaurant really is a gem in the neighborhood. There is so much room, from a bar and tables upfront, to a huge covered patio, and a private wine cellar, which is where I usually go for family events. They do a great job, are family friendly, and above all the food is great.
Beautiful place. Friendly staff and great food right here in the Bronx.
Looks very small at first, when you walk in, but opens up tremendously in the back to a nice seating area and bar area (bar not pictured). Would definitely recommend the chicken a la Michaelangelo's which was a great meal with the side of vegetables. The rainbow cake and desert were a great way to finish off the meal. Great price and great restaurant overall.
The food is always delicious. The waiter on the other hand could've been more attentive. It wasn't busy at all on this particular night and he didnt bring the bread to the table until the third time we asked for it, which at that point we already had the entrees at the table. Besides that the food is always fresh, always delicious and the Mojito's are amazing. So if you are ever in the area, give it a try.
Very nice restaurant. Good food at good prices. Looks very small but big inside. Beautiful garden atmosphere inside. A very pleasurable restaurant. A gem in Little Italy, Bronx.
Amazing atmosphere at this restaurant, amazing food and very well seasoned, had the rack of lamb and it was very good, my wife got the fettuccine alfredo pasta with chicken, for the appetizer we had stuffed mushrooms and it was very good. I give this restaurant 5 stars for food and 5 stars for service.
From the time that we walked in to the time that we walked out the service, food and drinks were fabulously awesomely DELICIOUS! It was like being at home. My favorite drink is an Italian Margarita. They didn't know how to make it so I described it to the waiter and the bartender made it perfectly. Their home made Limoncello is fantastic. Definitely will return. Thank you Michael Angelo's for a fabulous time for my Mom on Mother's Day weekend.
Great food and great service. The ambience is surprising. Looks like your ordinary run of mill Pizza shop from the outside until you go into the main dining area which is in the back. Really nice.
This is what a $16 Maragarita pizza looks like. Last time I'll be ordering from here.
Made me glad I was back in the bronx A great place to manga!
Good food, a little pricey
have been coming here for a few years. food and service have definitely declined. went recently for mothers day. very disappointed. had to send coffee's back since they were ice cold. I got another cup that was barely half full. think its time to see what other places have to offer.
An old yet reliable gem in the Bronx. The food, drinks and service are always great. Im looking forward to going back soon!
The atmosphere is great. It's a little pricey, food is good but portions are really small. Great for just after work drinks.
Very nice! Good service and good food
Gorgeous restaurant and decor, the food and wine options are great. the prices are very good and the service.
A family restaurant that makes you feel like a regular. They provided the whole back area for the repass. All the food was amazing. They know how to cook for a very large family and friends. It was a great space for friends and family to spend time together. There is a bar on the back room so folks could mingle and walk around. There was plenty of seating for everyone which was amazing considering they didn’t know how many were coming. The servers were attentive and we felt like the only people in the restaurant. Thank you all for opening up your space to us.
We are vacationing here & searched for an Italian restaurant & we are so glad we found this one! The hours on google say they close at 11 but on Facebook it says 10 & we arrived around 930 but they still served us & treated us very nicely. Our waiter was fast & everything came out just right. The inside is so cozy with the couch seating & lighting. Will definitely return when we come back for another vacation!
Great service, friendly staff, delicious coffee. Their ice cream for dessert caused me delight. Thanks! Never knew Bronx has a really nice restaurant like this one.
Very good Italian restaurant, food is authentic, table service is fantastic, the front door is kind of good, walk in side you will see a big patio and more dinnering space
I love the ambiance of this place and the food is amazing... however, not this time. We ordered 2 pasta dishes.... which honestly were overpriced for the serving size... the wait/serve time was really slow as well.
Delicious food, amazing service. A gem in the heart of Little Italy in the Bronx. Definitely a go-to restaurant if you're in the area!!!
Excelent food and service in Bronx
Really good food. The pizza is the perfect crust. Go with you jacket coz it might be chilling in the evenings.
We came to this restaurant for dinner. This spot was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. The staff welcomed us with a smile and we had a fantastic feeling. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant very much and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.
Fun dining hall with good food.
